How to check in for a flight online

You cannot register through the site if:

  • minor passenger unaccompanied by adults;
  • the passenger belongs to a special category of citizens (seriously ill, in need of special equipment or unable to move independently);
  • animals are transported;
  • luggage space required.

The boarding pass can be received on your phone via SMS or as a PDF file to the e-mail address specified during check-in. It is also possible to print your boarding pass in advance or receive it directly at the airport. To print, simply bring a smartphone with a barcode to the reader in a specially designed kiosk.


At the boarding gate, you can provide both a paper and an electronic copy of the boarding pass.

The registration process itself is simple:

  1. Go to the official website of the company and go to the "Check-in for the flight" tab.
  2. For identification, the system will require you to enter the number of the ticket or reservation itself (this data can be found in the purchase confirmation).
  3. The surname must be entered in Latin without errors. Then it remains to click the "Register" button.
  4. Check off your last name and all passengers, if the check-in is for several people, also leave a mark on the selected flight. The system will prompt you to familiarize yourself with the list of items prohibited for transportation, after which you can click "Continue".
  5. After the done manipulations, the choice of seats in the aircraft is made automatically by the system. If you need to change them, you will have to pay a certain amount, the amount of which depends on the chosen tariff. S7 Priority members can choose seats without paying a fee.
  6. When changing seats on the plane, a detailed layout of the cabin appears. Already occupied places are marked in gray, and those that are still free are marked in white. To select a suitable place, one click of the mouse is enough, after which you need to click "Save and continue." Seats can be changed at any time while online registration is open.
  7. The boarding pass must be downloaded in PDF format and sent to your mail or phone. If necessary, you can print the document at the airport terminal or at the check-in counter.
  8. With a boarding pass in paper or electronic form, you need to arrive at the airport in advance so that there is enough time to go through all the necessary formal procedures: baggage check-in, security control, etc.

Available S7 Airlines fares

The airline has four main fares:

  • Economy Basic. Suitable for anyone who is used to traveling light. In addition to the flight itself, the fare includes hand luggage up to 10 kg. It is important to note that you cannot choose a place in advance, you will have to pay a service fee, meals for a separate fee. Only passengers with children can reserve a seat in advance free of charge.
  • Economy Flexible. The ticket includes baggage (maximum weight 23 kg), not counting the permitted carry-on baggage. You can choose a seat on the plane at no extra charge, as well as change this parameter without additional fees until the time of departure.
  • Business Basic. Flight in business class, maximum baggage weight 32 kg, hand luggage 15 kg. You can change the date of departure or flight by paying a fee. A ticket purchased at this fare is non-refundable. Meals are free.
  • Business Flexible. Any changes to the ticket can be made free of charge and refunded at any time. The passenger has the right to carry 2 pieces of baggage with a total weight of 64 kg and 2 pieces of hand baggage of 15 kg each without additional payment. Meals are free.


Nutrition

In Economy tariffs, you can order food for an additional fee, provided:

  • the flight lasts from 3 hours;
  • payment was made no later than one day before the flight.

For business class passengers, meals are included in the ticket price. From the presented menu you can choose (economy and business class):

  • nutrition for babies;
  • children's menu;

  • vegetarian;

  • Muslim;

  • low in lactose;


  • gluten free.

All sets except the baby set include vegetable salads and a hot dish, bread (except for the gluten-free menu), a sweet dessert and a drink.

The Economy Basic fare does not provide for the carriage of baggage without additional fees, for other passengers the following requirements:

In all cases, the maximum allowable amount of baggage per piece must not exceed 203 cm in terms of the sum of height, length and width. If the dimensions are larger, the luggage is transported in the luggage compartment of the aircraft.


What you can carry besides luggage without additional fees:

  • ski set (1 pc.);
  • snowboard equipment, including the snowboard itself and protective equipment (up to 23 kg in economy and up to 32 kg in business class, sizes are not limited).


Exceeding the allowable weight must be paid for - equipment is transported in this case as oversized baggage according to the tariffs of S7 Airlines. Any baggage and hand luggage is checked in only at the airport, it cannot be done online.

For hand luggage, there are restrictions on weight and size, this is done to ensure that passengers are comfortable and safe in the cabin. Norms for S7 Airlines:
