In it, in addition to pliers, as a rule, there is also a small knife, a file with which you can sharpen a sinker, a screwdriver, sometimes scissors, an awl, an opener and much more (in different sets in different ways). Such a versatile and compact tool is simply indispensable for the repair and modernization of gear. If you don't already have one, I advise you to buy it, you won't regret it.

And finally, the knife. Probably few of you go fishing without a knife, you can’t do without it if you need to cut the horn, cut the interfering bushes and grass, cut the bait into cubes of the right size.

And it is not necessary to carry all the above tools with you at once. Take what you may need in this case. For example, if you are going for a large predator, you will need a yawner and a clamp or a large extractor, a small extractor will be enough for a non-predatory fish, and you can take a clamp just in case, suddenly a small predator will come across along the way.
